Dr. Catharine Rykowski, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience working with clients across the lifespan, from birth through advanced age (0–99+), across acute care, outpatient, home-based, and community settings. Her clinical approach emphasizes functional strength training, neuromuscular re-education, movement efficiency, and task-specific training to support safe and meaningful participation in daily activities. She specializes in individualized, goal-oriented treatment planning focused on improving mobility, balance, postural control, and functional independence. Dr. Rykowski prioritizes patient-centered care and evidence-based practice to achieve measurable functional outcomes that enhance quality of life.  As a year-round Chilmark resident and mother of three boys, she brings both professional expertise and a deep understanding of family and community life to her practice.
